The Beloved One: Let us begin today with letting the thoughts be more focused on the words which flow from the deep mind, for you know not, whence they come.

It is I, your Beloved, who strives to take away all your doubts, for your request has been heard. It is forever true, for whatever you think, I already know, because I know your hunger, I know your desires to come closer to Me, but this is difficult as still once in a while doubt rears its ugly head.

Yes, I promise that I will fulfill your deepest desires, but this can only be done, when you show yourself to Me as totally willing. ‘How do I do that’, you ask? Dear one, each time you seek My nearness, more doubt flees. Oh! yes! I know that you also desire to feel this in your heart and not only in your material brain, where everything is astir at this moment.

Please do not worry, just trust the process. You are a fragile human being, and the readiness needs to be there. You are such a delicate instrument, I do not want you to become unbalanced or unhinged. No fanaticism will ever rear its ugly head if we take things slow and easy.

Your Master Jesus was never in a hurry, this is the character trait I would have you cultivate more. Above all things, patience is required, this is also a fruit of the spirit, and we both know that you fall far short of this fruit.

I admonish you to try just a little harder to keep your temper in check. Just take ‘My Hand’ for I work with you always, and I know that your intentions are good but you need to remain calm, even if your nearest and dearest vex and exasperate you.

This is a most valuable lesson to learn.

The Beloved One: “Mortal life is the foundation of eternal life and death is the door thereto. The possibility exists that death can be eliminated through fusion with the Gift from God within. Life provides many loving service opportunities to advance spiritually and this development is open to all. It is the experiential depth of personal faith and trust in the Creator God which takes most fear away. The reason why l am telling you this, is that there is too much fear connected with death because of the unknown. Each mortal child ought to be told that death is the door to a higher way of living.

“It is one’s personal responsibility to educate oneself about death and eternity. Any spirit-born human being loses fear of death. This is the real birth which takes place in each faith filled mortal, who thereby becomes immortal. It is your faith and trust in God which sets you free from all the mystery surrounding death. It is the hope that springs up in the human breast and makes life so much easier to live.

“Since death is the door to eternity, (if chosen in mortal life) you will not know how long you have been asleep, just like when you fall asleep here and do not know where the night went. Such is that period intervening between mortality and resurrection into the morontia existence, which is the training period before one becomes a young spirit. You will progress and advance from one morontia world to a higher one depending on the speed of your spiritual development.

“When you finally arrive at the system headquarters, you will eventually progress to the constellation headquarters. After increasingly becoming more spiritual you will advance to the Melchizedek University worlds surrounding Salvington, the Headquarters World of your Universe in which your planet Urantia is located.

“There, after completing your training as a morontia being, you will gain the status of a young spirit and will get permission from your universe Ruler Michael, known on your world as Jesus of Nazareth, to venture beyond the borders of your local universe to continue your training. This is in a nutshell the ascension journey for the pilgrims of time in eternity to become perfect like the Universal Creator is Perfect."

The Beloved One: “The time of fulfillment of your secret desires is known only to Me. You cannot fully comprehend what these desires might be. All you know is that they are not material ones but pertain to eternal life and are therefore of lasting value.

“All things material are but fleeting, temporary, and shall therefore fall away like your temporal physical body, no matter how much time and money is spent on outer embellishment in order to stave off the effects of the aging process.

“Your days would be far better spent if an equal amount of time, or even more, would be allocated to contemplating eternal values, which are lasting, for in eternal life there is no aging. That which you accomplish in life on earth, like subduing your baser creature instincts, controlling your impulses and overcoming superstitious beliefs, is of far greater importance.

“Your character must grow strong and become victorious in overcoming enslaving habits, which truly warrant careful scrutiny and discernment, as there are numerous habits humanity is heir to. Please overcome negative habits by replacing them with the positive, with confident living and by cultivating traits like unconditional love and forgiveness, tolerance and compassion, and by loving service towards all.

“These positive habits you will carry with you into the next stage of existence, as they are the builders of a pure and sincere heart. Therefore, willingly open your heart, soul and mind, so you may experience more of My stabilizing influence in your daily life. Allow My Light in you to strengthen yours. Cultivate faith and trust in the goodness of God, for these will help you overcome your baser self.

“It is entirely up to you, which one you cultivate; your higher self or your baser creature self. Think about these things, for these are truly worthy of contemplation. The decisions you make today, and the actions resulting therefrom, are what your future will bring you.

“Live consciously and joyously in My presence, feeling secure in My loving leadings, for this is not just your journey. It is our journey. Breathe deeply and let these, My words, settle into the deepest of the deep of your consciousness. Trust and have faith.”
